General Overview
The Senior Consultant for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion will be responsible for consulting, facilitating and integrating diversity, equity and inclusion across Brigham Health. The incumbent will share in developing processes and tools to increase diverse representation at all levels of the organization, assist the movement toward a more respectful and inclusive culture, where all employees thrive, as well as understand and meet the needs of our diverse patient populations. The Senior Consultant will serve as a strategic partner within HR and other organizational departments in increasing inclusion and belonging.
Essential Functions
In collaboration with the Director of Employee Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, implement the Brigham Health Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and action plan.
Work with Human Resources colleagues, people managers and employees to ensure delivery of system-wide coverage of appropriate learning and development solutions.
Coaches faculty, staff, and employees across the Brigham Health system to meet our diversity goals and objectives.
Stays current and advises on emerging issues and trends in diversity, equity and inclusion, as related to healthcare.
Utilizes a human-centered approach to change management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supports the development and implementation of inclusive practices and behaviors system-wide.
Represents the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and goals with internal and external stakeholders.
Employs analytical skills to gather, interpret and deliver data.
Provides guidance and coaching to create proactive solutions and drive success in achieving diversity and inclusion objectives.
Works with employee resource groups to support their goals and action plans.
Collaborates with the Center for Diversity and Inclusion on shared goal and objectives.
Coaches employees and leaders on how to embed diversity, equity and inclusion into the employee life cycle and within patient care.
Researches and identifies emerging trends in diversity and inclusion in healthcare.
Works in a collaborative, interdependent manner with a wide array of colleagues and clients.
Qualifications Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in facilitation, teaching, and coaching in diversity related topics.

Demonstrated subject matter expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion along with human systems change.
