The consultant acts as a liaison to the assigned academic area and builds relationships with faculty and staff to further determine how the Career Center can assist with student career-related needs. The consultant participates as a part of a team to plan and implement various career programs throughout the year. The consultant may also be involved in employer development related to their assigned area. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and four years professional work experience. Preferred Education and Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with; Master's degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, or closely related discipline; two (2) or more years of direct Career Services experience; demonstrated effective use of software such as Handshake, Symplicity, CSO or other career resource management systems; and experience administering and interpreting career assessments such as the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
