CrossCountry partners with companies to transform their financial accounting experience by leveraging Sage Intacct, a leader in the cloud and the only preferred provider of financial applications by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). We provide the highest level of service and expertise for our customers' implementation, enhancement projects, and post-production support needs.
Responsibilities
Helps to identify, assess, and analyze business problems within the office of the CFO, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contributes knowledge and best practices of key accounting related business processes (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial close, etc.)
Assists with Sage Intacct system implementations as well as post-production support and enhancements
Supports various Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to): system strategy and selection, process or finance improvement and optimization, operations, or performance improvement, change management, program or project management, data analytics, business analysis
Reviews status, manage schedules, monitor progress, and prepares status reports
Assesses and escalates project issues, risks, or conflicts to leadership and suggests resolutions
Proactively partners with CrossCountry Consulting's leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training, and organizational development
Travel
Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%
Required Experience & Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience with functional and technical proficiency with the use and/or implementation of a mid-market Financial System (e.g. Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Great Plains, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Prior experience in professional services (public accounting or advisory firm), preferably at a large, global accounting firm or with a management consulting firm
Experience using a Financial System and/or designing and facilitating setup and configuration of one or more modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Expenses)
Finance or accounting background with knowledge of General Ledger and Sub-ledger concepts preferred (e.g., Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Intercompany transfers and allocations, AP, AR, trial balance data, General Ledger, Billing, Procurement, Revenue Recognition, Expenses, and Asset Management)
Experience developing and formatting data to meet export/import requirements as defined by system rules
Excellent communication skills required - must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, communicating appropriate information to client as well as other team members
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Additional experience in one or more of the following areas: risk (e.g. internal audit, SOX compliance, governance, etc.), accounting (e.g. financial reporting, operational accounting, accounting policy, transactions, etc.), business transformation (e.g. process optimization, finance transformation, change management, operations and performance improvement, etc.)
Project management experience, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a "big picture" perspective
Demonstrated track record of establishing credibility both internally and externally
Passionate about building, developing, motivating, and leading others

Education
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other technical discipline
