About the Role
We are seeking a high caliber Management Reporting candidate to report to the Regional Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be the key finance contact and business partner to Line of Business stakeholders including the Corporate Banking Group (CBG) and the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). The candidate will be required to provide detailed financial reporting analysis, planning, presentations and customer insights to help drive strategic business decision within the region. Key stakeholders include LOB COOs, APAC Central FP&A team, APAC CFO and US LOB Finance teams.
The position is to be based in Taipei to meet the increasing demands arising from Wells Fargo's international presence as well as an evolving financial and regulatory landscape in the region.
Responsibilities
Prioritize, analysis, design, plan, track and execute of LOB management reporting deliverables
Provide Financial Planning, Analysis and insights to FIG and CBG business partners
Work with US finance to generate and present APAC monthly management reporting and analysis for FIG and CBG
Understand and communicate to LOBs the cost allocations framework, including the controls that apply to how cost pools are identified established and charged out to LOBs
Provide creative and unique solutions to complex business requirements
Collaborate on APAC revenue and expense projects related to FIG and CBG
Ad-hoc management reporting analysis on regional balance sheet, income and expense items
Provide data and analysis for Regional and Global CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) forums
Provide financial data, analysis and insights to APAC central FP&A reporting team for consolidation of APAC results
Finance partner to CBG and FIG on Annual plans, Outlook and rolling forecasts
Provide analysis of results against plan and outlook
Plan and analyze direct and indirect operating expense
Record and track Customer metrics including profitability and other key metrics
Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior business and support LOB leaders
Develop processes and infrastructure controls to ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant Wells Fargo's policies and procedures
Market Skills and Certifications
Requirements
University Degree and professionally qualified accountant
Experience of more than 5 years from financial or banking sectors
Progressive track record of management reporting experience, including staff management, with familiarity of running and or working in a geographically diverse team
Strong Financial analysis and experience in providing timely and relevant recommendations to drive business decisions and outcomes
Demonstrable change management skills, particularly those involving process re-engineering and systems change
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to give presentations and briefings to senior management
Creative and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to analyze business transactions and identify key Finance risks/mitigating controls,
Able to work under pressure and maintain high energy levels
Able to work independently with positive collaboration within a fast paced, team environment
