The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company. This team also provides next generation analytic insights to drive business strategies and help meet our commitment to satisfy our customers' financial needs. The Data Management Senior Consultant within the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) Product Management team will partner with senior leaders from various organizational levels such as Data Management & Insights (DMI), Data Management Solutions (DMS), Technology, Corporate Functions and the lines of business to enable operational efficiencies, process tracking and governance around ingestion & consumption of data from the lake. The role will support policy adherence, regulatory & audit needs around EDL including driving process efficiencies and acting as a concierge for other teams around these needs. Key Responsibilities: - Understand how project teams' perceive their usage of EDL by surveying BDL teams, analyzing usage, decomposing escalations, etc. to have an accurate and current pulse of the 'BDL Experience'.
- Drive improvements to the 'BDL Experience' through process simplification, automation/self-service enablement.
- Collect, maintain and provide process controls evidence to support risk, regulatory and compliance needs.
- Work closely with the peers on the EDL Management Leadership to integrate a communication model that educates and provides training to effectively/easily navigate the processes
- Develop and enhance approaches to deepen and broaden adoption across business areas of the of EDL platform using data-driven analysis of user segments, platform product usage, data product usage, etc.
- Partner with BDL teams to implement Change Management programs using proven techniques to drive healthy adoption of the Enterprise Data Strategy and EDL Platform.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: data management, data governance, data quality or data analysis

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Other Desired Qualifications
- Experience with data management best practices and disciplines including data governance, data architecture, data quality, analytics and business intelligence,
- Experience in product and release management, and delivering successful end user experiences through capabilities
- Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business requirements, policies, procedures and processes
- Experience in launching and running complex programs using Agile Scrum and Waterfall delivery teams
- Experience with Banking Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting data platforms and technologies
- Experience with JIRA, SharePoint and Microsoft Macros
- Broad financial expertise with knowledge of corporate affairs, financial and product fundamentals, and business policies, products, processes, systems, and roles
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to engage and influence senior technology and business executives
- Strong expertise in delivering formal change management across diverse business areas
- Ability to foster relationships across lines of business and support functions
Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
