As a Deloitte Consulting Compensation Strategies Senior Consultant in the Reward & Well-Being practice of Deloitte's Human Capital group, you will perform the following job responsibilities:
â¢ Conduct proxy statement studies and analyses of other publicly available data sources
â¢ Benchmark annual incentive plans and long-term incentive plan design and practice
â¢ Conduct statistical analyses of compensation data
â¢ Model financial impact of compensation plans
â¢ Conduct performance metrics studies
â¢ Monitor executive and other compensation trends
â¢ Participate in broader projects including performance management, employee benefits, retirement, healthcare, performance optimization, cash/non-cash reward and recognition
â¢ Participate in marketing initiatives including support on developing compensation work and methodology approaches, writing and supporting proposals and conducting surveys
â¢ Contribute to intellectual eminence and the development of firm viewpoints on a variety of total rewards topics
Travel up to 50% (While up to 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
â¢ 2 + years of consulting experience
Demonstrated knowledge of compensation functions & processes, with experience in one or more of the following areas: compensation and statistical analysis, incentive plan design and analysis, and pay structure analysis and design
â¢ Experience managing staff and leading small to medium sized teams
â¢ Strong client presence with project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
â¢ Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environments
â¢ Well-organized with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously
â¢ Strong oral and written communication skills
â¢ Ability to create and manage client relationships and develop business
â¢ Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
