What You'll Do
As an Operational Transfer Pricing Senior Consultant, you will work with our transfer pricing and technology teams to provide clients the critical knowledge to deal effectively with process and data issues around transfer pricing. You will be part of the broader Transfer Pricing practice, a multidisciplinary group, comprised of professionals with backgrounds in tax, economics, law, finance, and accounting, bringing a well-rounded approach to each engagement.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with OTP leadership group to coordinate and drive various efforts around practice development
On specific client projects, collaborate with Deloitte technology and Transfer Pricing teams to provide integrated services to meet client's OTP requirements
Hands on data wrangling and programming on relevant data management tools
If interested, work with economists, tax attorneys, business professionals, and tax specialists in a team environment to analyze and resolve international transfer pricing issues faced by multinational enterprises in a wide variety of industries.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of your client's business and the industry in which they operate.
Perform detailed economic and financial analyses which can include database searches for benchmark companies and the use of our proprietary financial modeling tools.
Assist in scoping and drafting proposals, document requests, reports, presentations, and other client materials.
Supervise, mentor, and assist in the training of new and experienced Tax Consultants.
Members of the highly-specialized Deloitte Tax Operational Transfer Pricing team work to develop operational transfer pricing solutions, tools, and collaboration to cover the spectrum of operational transfer pricing issues. Transfer Pricing practitioners, utilizing the latest technology and strategies, develop a rich set of skills that combine the rigor of modeling, empirical analysis, and economic ideas with the interaction and energy of a global consultancy practice, to help clients work with complex and dynamic issues surrounding operational transfer pricing needs on a global level.

2+ years of experience in a data analysis and/or basic finance/accounting
BS or Masters with a combination of Data Management/Sciences, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics/Statistics, or equivalent
Knowledge of Data Management tools, such as advanced Excel, VB, Alteryx, Power BI, SQL, and Python.
Comfort with understanding data and complicated calculations involving multiple data sources
Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
Strong analytical abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to present technical ideas to non-technical people through slides and demonstrations
