Morgan McKinley is working with a great Financial Services business who are looking for an experienced Communications Consultant with proven experience working within the FS / Pensions sector.
The main purpose of the Communication & Engagement Implementation Consultant is to assist and support the Communications Consultants with the implementation of new business wins. By providing the communication support, you allow the Consultants to concentrate on providing communication services.
The role requires an experienced individual with the ability to multi-task and organise various projects. The role is focussed predominantly on implementation, project management, investment change and communication material preparation and quality checking.
Day rate: Up to ??350
Duration: Temp - 12 months
Location: Hybrid working - Home working with 1 day a week in office
Duties will include:
Supporting the Communication Consultants with new business wins, bulk transfers, client specific Corporate Actions projects and other project management tasks
Acting as a second 'buddy' or in some cases the Comms representative on various projects/campaigns or work groups
Attending conference calls with internal colleagues and potentially clients/trustees of a pension plan, in respect of an investment change project
Creation and maintenance of all communication material related to implementations including but not limited to initial announcements, detailed announcements, creation of new literature templates and webinar material for the implementation of a new client'
Co-ordinating member mailings and liaising with print houses
Provide structure within team meetings to ensure the team remains focused as well as collating weekly notes and circulating where appropriate
Quality control of all implementation engagement campaigns and literature
Experience and Qualifications Required:
Proven Communications / Project Management experience working within the Financial Services / Pensions sector
Industry knowledge, understanding the client's needs and challenges
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrable ability to build, develop & maintain good relationships
A flexible can do attitude
Excellent organisational and administration skills, ability to manage several tasks and to prioritise
Good knowledge of MS office, word, PowerPoint, outlook and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to communicate with external clients and senior managers as well as many other different departments internally
