The Deloitte Digital team is seeking a Manager of Engineering for the Hux Platform Organization to shepherd the development of solutions that leverage client marketing and customer interaction data to create a single view of their customers. As the Manager of Engineering, you will help maximize outcomes and customer experience for our clients.
Work you'll do
The Senior Consultant, Engineering will help develop in-house data assets within the Hux Platform Organization to ensure we are delivering best-of-breed solutions around marketing data management, marketing decisioning and experience management, from capture and storage through to security and privacy. A core goal of Hux is to deliver solutions which live within the client's own private cloud and give them transparent ownership of their data and marketing decisioning. Hux solutions must therefore be flexible and cloud agnostic.
In addition to managing the development of performant client solutions within the engineering organization the role will involve close collaboration with the Decisioning Core engineering team. Ensuring that assets developed by Data Core are architected in a form suitable for both BI/Analytics and real-time machine learning is a crucial part of this role.
Another core responsibility is providing the engineering voice in development and maintenance of the product roadmap. The Manager, Engineering must work closely with product, business and service delivery stakeholders to ensure roadmap items are technically sound and that technical debt is prioritized pragmatically alongside new features.
Engineering leadership for a scrum team working on Data Core assets (acting as People Leader for the Engineers on your individual team, signing off technology and architecture designs, etc).
Collaboration with Service Delivery teams to ensure the assets developed by Data Core are actually used in the field and understanding the pain points they are experiencing.
Delivering scalable big-data solutions for real time decisioning and analytics in client cloud environments (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft's Azure).

5+ years of Engineering experience in a non-academic setting
3+ years leadership experience delivering large scale data and decisioning solutions for large enterprises.
2+ years' experience deploying data stores that satisfy the privacy and security requirements of large enterprises.
Successfully delivered 1+ large scale solution of this type in either AWS, GCP, or Azure
Demonstrated knowledge of Python, Git and SQL Snowflake, Matillion (Orchestration and Data Loader)
Hands-on experience building and deploying automated decision pipelines
Proven ability to build and implement identity resolution/stitching solutions
