Job Description 40% Designs and develops effective learning solutions based on program design, adult learning principles, and performance expectations
30% Partners closely with Program Owners, Business Excellence Team, and various business stakeholders to innovate and and continuously improve non-multimedia/e-learning assets in the curriculum
20% Drives program implementation utilizing the Learning Management System and other production tools to manage program assets, infrastructure and project progress
10%Supports development of train-the-trainer sessions
â¢ Collaborates with ELD & P workforce/program owners to define, plan and align on Instructor-Led (virtual or in-person) design elements as defined in SOW â¢ Consults on design and synchronous (event-based) alternatives/modalities to create the most efficient and cost-effective learning approach relative to the SOW â¢ Uses the latest formal instructional design methodology to design and develop sophisticated, performance-focused non-digital solutions using a variety of experiences and activity approaches â¢ Designs visual elements (such as infographics, print and digital templates) for each solution that engage targeted audience(s) and are visually appealing â¢ Drives solution implementation utilizing the Learning Management System and production tools to track project plan and program data â¢ Develops Train-the-Trainer sessions in collaboration with Program Owners â¢ Coordinates the training plan to include managing project budget (where applicable), project plan, and working with business and ELD&P partners as needed to ensure project goals and quality standards are met â¢ Simultaneously manages multiple, relationally complex and/or high-profile projects for enterprise-wide or business-specific implementation â¢ Performs quality reviews to ensure program meets quality and design standards; ensure digital solutions function in targeted audiences' environment technological architecture â¢ Works in partnership as appropriate with external vendors to deliver state-of-the-art, technology-based digital solutions
Key Competencies Include: â¢ Ability to communicate with and influence others â¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills â¢ Experience connecting key performance indicators (KPIs) to a continuous learning strategy â¢ Knowledge of adult learning principles and design strategies â¢ Experience designing effective program evaluation strategies to the L3 and L4 levels â¢ Ability to synthesize Key Performance Data and develop data stories linked to L3 and L4 evalution â¢ Ability to breakdown complex processes into scalable and digestible chunks for learners working in a remote environment â¢ Strong sense to identify priorities, potential tradeoffs, and execution variables specific the business landcape â¢ Comfort operating and collaborating in a remote work environment â¢ Strong project leadership skills â¢ Strong collaborator with active listening skills
Required Qualifications â¢ 6+ years work experience in instructional design â¢ 3+ years experience designing for a virtual-instructor led learning environment
