What you’ll be doing...
As a Network Engineer you will be responsible for a wide range of activities that includes ticket management, triage activities, collaboration with advanced teams surrounding the on-going maintenance, and first-level support of Managed Services customer networks (primarily incident support).
These activities will include performing the initial troubleshooting and resolution of standard, repetitive to moderately-complex network issues, working with vendors and internal organizations (e.g., IT NOC, Engineering, PMO) on product-wide issues.
Directly interact with customers on high-visibility and complex technical issues.
Provides first-level of support by performing the initial incident troubleshooting, management, and triage for Managed Network Services customers.
Support a complex mix of technologies that create the Managed Services product offerings including Managed WAN (MWAN), Managed LAN (MLAN), Managed Wireless LAN (MWLAN - Aruba and Cisco WLCs and APs), SDWAN (Viptela, Versa, Meraki).
Provide support for customer circuits, and being involved in troubleshooting circuit-related issues by coordinating with field tech and other core support teams.

What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of OSI layers 1-7, including knowing how to solve moderately complex problems across all networking disciplines.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN and SDWAN concepts (including wireless LAN).
Direct experience supporting enterprise-class routers, switches in a global network environment using common network security practices, standards, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting Aruba and Cisco WLAN Controllers and Access Points.
Experience and knowledge of network monitoring/management technologies (e.g., AAA, SNMP, FTP, SCP, telnet, SSH, NTP, Netflow, syslog, monitoring applications).
Willing to work 24*7 rotational shifts and flexible hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
Strong knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and RIP routing protocols; knowledge of redistribution and high-availability protocols (e.g., HSRP, GLBP, VRRP).
Strong knowledge of QOS, MQOS, queuing techniques, policing, shaping, marking etc. on Cisco and Juniper platforms.
Ability to multitask in a high-visibility environment.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of ITIL model and experience working in an ITIL environment.
Ability to manage the internal technical teams during joint collaborations.
Ability to communicate technical details and concepts.
