The Senior Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Consultant at Dana-Farber is responsible for owning, developing and implementing leadership and organizational development solutions that align to the Institute???s strategic goals and support its business outcomes.?? The role works collaboratively with the Human Resource Business Partners to promote the HR vision of being partners in shaping an inclusive and innovative culture that empowers our people to drive scientific discovery and deliver extraordinary cancer care for patients and their families.?? This role acts as an advisor and partner in matters relating to inclusion, management/leadership effectiveness, organizational design and development, performance management and leadership coaching.?? The Senior L&OD Consultant acts as a lead and shares facilitation responsibility for key programs/projects/initiatives such as Mastering the Leadership Challenge and acts as a liaison to Project University.
This job is partial remote. Remote days may only be worked from the states of MA, RI, and NH.??

Leadership Development/Organizational Development
Develops, directs, facilitates and supports internal and external leadership development programs including ???Mastering the Leadership Challenge,??? Team/Department sessions and/or retreats.?? May be asked to design/facilitate executive meetings.?? Acts as a critical resource within HR, partnering across departments to identify L&OD interventions, to design innovative solutions and to collaborate around the implementation of initiatives aimed to increase effectiveness.?? Partners with HRIS to support the design and maintenance of e-learning within an LMS environment.?? Utilizes project management capabilities and tools to keep efforts within scope, time and budget.?? Develops and maintains vendor relationships to support additional facilitation needs.??

Leadership Coaching
Accountable for successfully implementing and completing assigned coaching projects within the dedicated timeframe.?? This includes identification of the appropriate Institute resources to ensure coaching needs are met.?? Provides regular updates with themes and impact-based measurement analytics.

Change Management/Culture
Provides change management support for client groups to further the transformation of the clients??? culture, increasing its ability to meet current and future business challenges. ??Translates the insights from organization and engagement surveys into actions/programs that have an impact on DFCI???s performance and culture.?? Utilizes project management capabilities and tools.

Inclusion/Diversity/Equity
Participates in the development and implementation of the Dana-Farber Inclusion/Diversity strategy to attract, engage, develop, and retain a diverse workforce across the Institute.?? Facilitates conversations and programs that build connections among our diverse workforce.?? Collaborates with HR and leadership on effective programs and interventions to build engagement, resolve conflict, improve communications, and improve effectiveness of work teams.?? Models inclusive language, reflections and interactions that build credibility and impact for Inclusion initiatives.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor???s Degree
8-10 years of demonstrated success in Leadership Development, Inclusion/Diversity, Organizational Development or related fields. Additional degrees considered in lieu of years of work experience.
Experience in academic or health care environment preferred
Knowledge of diversity, inclusion and equity principles, including unconscious bias and inclusive leadership
Knowledge on how to advise around issues related to organizational design/organizational structure
Knowledge of instructional design; blended learning expertise preferred
Knowledge of Captivate or Articulate preferred
Strong organizational skills
Skilled in maintaining engagement, reading an audience, and flexing your presentation appropriately throughout any facilitation experience
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify problems and synthesize key action elements to plan for improvement
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to demonstrate executive presence
Ability to build and to maintain strong relationships across all levels of the organization
Ability to tell an impact story based on data analysis and trends
Ability to handle confidential, complex information and provide subject matter expertise
Ability to influence cross-functionally
Ability to conduct needs assessment and influence change at various levels within the organization
Able to be comfortable with a high level of autonomy
Able to us solid judgment and emotional intelligence
