General Description: The University of Tennessee Municipal Technical Advisory Service (MTAS) seeks applications for a Municipal Training Consultant in its Nashville office.  MTAS is an agency of the University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service that provides technical assistance, consulting, training and research services for Tennessee towns and cities.   The Training & Development Consultant provides program design and curriculum development for all aspects of the MTAS training efforts.  This position designs new programs, revises current programs, conducts and markets programs, and continually looks for ways to innovatively distribute knowledge and improve skills for the municipal appointed and elected officials of Tennessee.
