You will contribute to the department by providing support in the university store which sells CMU merchandise, computers, art supplies, office products and gifts. Core responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers and assisting them in finding merchandise.
• Acting as brand ambassador to provide assistance and information to visitors and community members.
• Managing transactions at the point-of-sale.
• Monitoring inventory levels and restocking the sales floor.
• Providing leadership to the student employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education High School or GED
• 1-3 years retail customer service preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Requirements:

• Successful Background Check
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift - up to 50 lbs
• Occasional weekend hours required
