The Senior Technical Consultant solves advanced complex technical problems. Develops and provides solutions and procedures for best practice implementations. Sets standards, installations guidelines, and maintenance and verification/auditing documentation of systems solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Provide assessments for PC or Server hardware and software needs for user departments to meet application and system requirements.
Researches technological solutions and methods of application delivery to satisfy business requirements.
Creates and maintains project plans for installation and upgrades of applications within an enterprise project management system.
Assists with project management, including project planning, gathering quotes and planning installations.
Provides ongoing technical help to customers, developing procedures as needed.
Coordinates product installations, upgrades and ongoing maintenance needs for smooth operation of applications.
Tests and implements new systems into user departments.
Consults with customers to resolve problems.
Develops technical feasibility and/or alternatives to system problems.
Provides training for users.
Researches technological solutions and methods of application deliver to satisfy business requirements.
May study and test vendor software, report issues to vendor and provides recommendations for resolution of issues.
Designs, codes, tests, and debugs new software for vendor-provided software.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
Advanced SQL experience related to creating advanced SQL scripts and processing large sets of data.
Application support and implementation experience
Processing large sets of data through various systems
Leading projects and communicating with various stakeholders
Presenting KPIs and project success to leadership
Preferred: Microsoft IT Certification
Preferred: Database development experience
Location: Dallas or Temple, Hybrid
