The Executive Search Consultant will report to the Executive Search Recruiter and be responsible for supporting the activities associated with the recruitment and selection of high-level positions engaged through the University's Executive Search services. This role will provide innovative recruiting methods, research analysis, and project management for assigned searches. A successful candidate will take independent initiative to conduct in-depth research to successfully build diverse candidate pipelines and be responsible for managing multiple searches at any given time.
It will be critical for this position to proactively recruit top talent and ensure a positive experience for all candidates through maintaining high touch communication and providing information about the university, department, and community. The Executive Search Consultant will support the needs of leadership, hiring officials, search committee members, and candidates; and ensure all interviewing and selection logistics are well coordinated and executed.
Other responsibilities include: networking with regional and national source agencies (e.g. Chamber of Commerce, professional organizations, colleges/universities, etc.), attending job fairs and other events to source potential talent; and developing collaborative partnerships with hiring departments.
