What will you be doing in this role:
The Senior Digital Strategy Consultant for Consumer Digital Innovation is responsible for supporting the evaluation and growth of the health system’s digital strategy and innovation initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director, Digital Strategy, this position will support the identification, validation, business model development, and product strategy for technology, product, and digital health opportunities.
Supports the development of high-impact strategies to advance Cedars-Sinai digital strategy, making meaningful contributions to initiatives, products, and workstreams from discovery to execution to growth. Includes developing deliverables, project work plans, managing milestones and due dates, effectively communicating project status with internal and external stakeholders (including executive leadership), and anticipating and addressing project risks.
Provides digital health consulting, product, and growth strategy support to multiple initiatives, new ventures, and digital products and channels in collaboration with Consumer Digital Innovation, Marketing and Communications, Enterprise Information System (EIS), clinical, and technology transfer leadership and stakeholders.
Supports digital health product lifecycle, advising minimum viable product (MVP) definition, discovery, incubation, launch, and growth, in collaboration with operational, clinical, design, and technical development teams.
Supports the maintenance and communication of Cedars-Sinai’s overall digital strategy, strategic roadmap, and product initiatives, ensuring that they align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, and improve consumer experience.
Supports the management and analysis of internal and external innovation process to identify, prioritize, and commercialize innovative ideas and initiatives that drive business growth and improve consumer-centric experience and care delivery.
Assists in the development of business model, value proposition, and go-to-market strategy for new digital ventures, strategic and commercial relationships, and digital products and channels in collaboration with the Consumer Digital Innovation team, and cross-functional clinical partners.
Builds and maintains tracking mechanisms in support of monitoring relationships with external organizations, including technology vendors, startups, associations, and academic institutions, to drive strategic digital innovation and business development opportunities.
In collaboration with Strategic Planning and Business Development, develops detailed financial analyses, including income statements, cash flow analysis and balance sheets for new and/or existing digital initiatives, services, and technologies.
In collaboration with Strategic Planning and Business Development, develops economic valuations using standard acceptable methodologies to evaluate new business opportunities; identifies and retrieves data and converts into information required to make decisions on new business development opportunities.
Aids in the development of review analyses of initiatives and compares their results to business plans and/or budgeting targets, advising potential growth strategies for execution.
Monitors, evaluates, defines, and prepares detailed market research and/or trend assessments and analysis; may include competitor analyses, demand forecasts, key market trends resulting from changing healthcare legislations, third-party reimbursement trends and information on new technology impacting patient care.
This is a Hybrid Remote position and will require to live locally in the Los Angeles area with expectations of 3-days a week onsite in the office.
Experience Requirements:
Three (3)+ years of experience in strategy and/or business development in a healthcare organization or consulting organization providing services to the healthcare industry.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Leadership/Management, Business, or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
