Job Summary The Lead Safety & Quality Consultant, Administrative will be responsible for:
The Lead Safety & Quality Consultant Health Equity will be collaborating across multiple teams to ensure coordination of activities related to Health Equity, Health-related Social Needs assessment, screening, documentation, and quality improvement initiatives and to ensure compliance with MassHealth Clinical Quality and Health Equity Incentive Program deliverables, including but not limited to, collection of data for reporting according to the new standards put forth by MassHealth. This position will work across multiple functions and teams to develop best practices around measurement and performance improvement projects for the hospital and supporting process and quality improvement initiatives in reducing disparities for our patients.
Participates in the recruiting, hiring, managing, motivating, and development activities of assigned staff. Conducts performance reviews and recommends promotions, merit raises, and disciplinary action for direct reports.
To Qualify, you must have:
Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in Safety and Project Management
Expert in technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio; and ability to effectively utilize data capture tools, such as REDCap.
Solid knowledge of project lifecycle, including design, implementation, measurement, and reporting. Ability to independently lead complex, multi-disciplinary project teams that include clinical and non-clinical staff to develop and implement improvements within clinical departments.
Ability to create stand-alone presentations with minimal guidance and review, containing the right messaging for the intended audience, and effective display of data.
Ability to manage all aspects of multiple projects in various stages of progress.
Interest in and the ability to teach and build the skill set of team members and other enterprise collaborators.
