As the Recruitment Hiring Process and Equity Consultant (HRC 4), you will be responsible for driving change and innovation in our recruitment and hiring processes. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers, leadership, and HR professionals to redesign and implement more equitable procedures. This role reports to the Talent Acquisition and Candidate Manager and is essential in shaping hiring practices across our agency.
Thoroughly assess and revamp HR recruitment and hiring processes with a strong emphasis on equity.
Propose innovative recommendations for process improvements.
Collaborate with others to implement data-driven changes.
Provide expert consultation and contribute to the development of tools, resources, and training materials.
Make informed recommendations for updates to policies and procedures to align them with best practices and equity principles.
Conduct engaging training sessions to empower team members with HR knowledge and skills.
Actively engage partners, customers, and team members most affected by HR decisions to prioritize equity and inclusion in our processes, policies, and procedures.

Option 1: Six (6) or more years of human resource experience, including assessing and facilitating solutions for complex human resource problems and issues.
Option 2: An Associate’s degree; AND five (5) or more years of human resource experience, including assessing and facilitating solutions for complex human resource problems and issues.
Option 3: A Bachelor’s degree or higher; AND four (4) or more years of human resource experience, including assessing and facilitating solutions for complex human resource problems and issues.
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
Analyzing and assessing current state and proposing future state processes and procedures.
Engagement with equity and social justice initiatives.
Applying an equity and inclusion lens to internal processes and procedures.
Leading and driving process improvement efforts.
Using project management principles and tools.
Familiarity of state civil service rules and collective bargaining agreements.
Proficiency in developing and conducting training.
