Why This Role Matters:
As the Learning and Leadership Development Consultant, you'll play a critical role in empowering the people who power Notre Dame by leading the strategy and programming for the professional development of individual contributors and stewarding the University's onboarding journey for staff new hires. From designing new programs to enhancing existing learning opportunities, you'll curate, propose, and lead initiatives that align with University values, fostering a positive and inclusive culture. By nurturing growth and encouraging exploration, you'll inspire individual contributors to unlock their full potential and bring out their champions.
What You'll Do:
Lead the strategy for the training and professional development of individual contributors at the University of Notre Dame. Identify, propose, and curate new learning opportunities to fill gaps in individual contributor learning and development at ND.
Lead University onboarding for staff new hires, managing the NDHR staff online onboarding content on the ServiceNow platform in partnership with NDHR's Employee Experience and Strategic Operations (EESO) and Talent Acquisition teams.
Identify, assess, develop, and curate online learning content for the designated target audience, including ND-specific content and external partner-produced content.
Facilitate selected University learning programs, communities of practice, & team learning application sessions.
Partner with specific NDHR teams as a Learning & Leadership Development (LLD) liaison.
Build relationships and develop collaborative partnerships with colleagues in NDHR and across the University.
Consult on learning and development questions related to the needs of individual contributors and new hires.
Develop and foster strong, collaborative relationships with external learning and development partners providing content and programs relevant to the designated target audience.
Serve as the LLD team lead on the overall team communication strategy. Communicate and promote individual contributors and new hire learning programs and resources to attract target participants and maximize enrollment.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
Independent thinker and decision-maker as demonstrated through the leadership of successful, high-impact programs.
Outstanding communicator and facilitator with strong interpersonal skills.
Active collaborator with the ability to create, maintain, and support successful partnerships and build meaningful relationships at all levels across the University.
Organized and proactive self-starter with a spirit of curiosity and a growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in learning and development.
