The IS Cybersecurity Operational Consultant is responsible for providing strategic consulting, integration, and implementation services with Department and System-wide impact to improve the interoperability of Cybersecurity best practices.The role uses knowledge and expertise of technology, cybersecurity, change management, program/project management, collaboration, and process improvement to develop and implement business and/or technical solutions.
Essential Functions of the Role
Integration
·Acts as a Cybersecurity liaison for assigned area of responsibility, including senior leadership, vendors, and user groups to ensure effective collaboration.
·Collaborates with stakeholders on initiatives as a trusted advisor, resolving problems and recommending solutions based on business requirements.
·Provides decision support to stakeholders in of support strategic, operational, business, and technology decisions.
·Communicates what is happening within IS Cybersecurity and its impact to stakeholders, including escalation of key issues or concerns
·Promote consistency and operational efficiency between Cybersecurity and all applicable stakeholders throughout BSWH.
Operationalization
·Act as internal consultant, providing recommendations, coaching, and training on IS Cybersecurity-related processes, change management, program/project management, and process improvements.
·Applies detailed analysis to assess current systems, practices, and procedures compared to Cybersecurity best practices and develops strategic recommendations to address areas of opportunity
·Assesses, recommends, and participates in development and implementation of business processes and activities related to Cybersecurity
·Develops change management plans and schedules in line with organizational strategic initiatives.
Cybersecurity
·Maintains knowledge of Cybersecurity best practices, standards, and technologies
·Champions best practices and processes for Cybersecurity throughout BSWH
·Ensures IT services are delivered in a timely, accurate, effective, and cost-efficient manner

Minimum Requirements
·Education: Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
·Experience: 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity and IS-related roles
