Benefis Health System has an opportunity for an advanced practice provider consulting hospitalist role at our West Campus for medical needs on our Injury Rehabilitation and Psychiatry Units in Great Falls, Montana. We offer a wide variety of patients and pathology, collaborative teams, great specialty support, competitive compensation and benefits and scheduling that accommodates an adventurous Montana lifestyle!
Rehab staff of over 100 employees including: 1 brain injury fellowship trained physiatrist/medical director, a unit-based rehab APP to help with consults, rounding and daily patient needs, a rehab psychologist, med/surg trained acute nursing staff and a critical care nurse on call 24/7 in addition to 16 therapists.
Primary diagnoses: TBI, NTBI, TSCI, NTSCI, neuro condition, LE fracture, LE replacement, other ortho, LE amputation, rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac/pulmonary DEB, MMT w/out TBI or SCI, MMT w/ TBI or SCI, and guillain barre
Medical Consultations to manage chronic medical conditions and acute medical illnesses, assist with determining outpatient medical needs and follow-up, and to provide support for medical emergencies when on duty.

Medical-type patients such as long-term IV antibiotic patients or custodial level of care, who would benefit from psychiatric programming while awaiting discharge, are also admitted to this unit, on occasion
