Putnam Indian Field School is seeking a Human Resources consultant to support the school with tasks related to employee management and relations, compliance, and specialized projects.  

Putnam Indian Field School is an independent, co-educational preschool in Greenwich, CT for children ages 2-5.  The school operates on a three-acre campus and maintains a staff of 40 teachers, administrative staff, and support staff. 

Qualifications

• Belief in and support of the school’s mission
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact confidently, kindly, and effectively with school staff, parents, donors, trustees, school administration and alumni
• Knowledge of employment law and Connecticut State labor practices and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Google Workspace, and general digital media; willingness to learn new databases and web tools
• Experience in a school setting preferred
