Job Summary
Develops, supports, facilitates and works with internal and external partners to create skill-based training opportunities, apprenticeships, internships, job shadowing and work-based learning for current and future team members. Analyzes data in order to create, develop and execute workforce development programs for the organization. Supports manager with strategic planning and workforce development projects by creating comprehensive project plans to include design, build, change management, communication and activation of the plans. Works with others to identify project costs and benefits of program partnerships. Represents the organization's work force development programs and partnerships at various civic, community and partnership events, fairs and activities. Manages and oversees workforce development educational programs and facilitates career guidance, interest and discovery options, resume reviews and education goals to assist team members to achieve their career goals.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Licensure or other certifications:
Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree
Minimum Experience: Three (3)- Five (5) years experience building public/private community, educational, state and local organization relationships AND experience in workforce planning and development, education and program development, career counseling/coaching, guidance counseling or related field.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Analyze workforce data, development processes, management and leadership structures to identify areas of talent pipeline improvement including structure, policies, processes, learning, and personnel actions.
Coordinate key discussion and work sessions, fostering interdependence with key leadership stakeholders during the development of workforce programming.
Create strategic plans and identify deliverables. Assist in developing project timelines and deadlines. Identify work situations that require connections and linkages to change in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
Develop strategic metric goals which will determine effectiveness, return on investment, and the ultimate success of pipeline programming.
Develop external pipeline programming with leaders of community organizations to the benefit of both NGHS and the greater local community.
Support the Manager of Workforce Development in all areas, able to stand in place of said Manager to effectively analyze current conditions, assess potential solutions, and address any issues which should arise.
Identify opportunities to improve operations that may impede talent pipeline growth. Create process maps, workflow design, and measures of effectiveness and measures of performance which demonstrate success.
Create strategic plans and identify deliverables. Assist in developing project timelines and deadlines. Identify work situations that require connections and linkages to change in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
Work as a consultant to service line leaders, using influence, data, and strategic planning to gain confidence from leaders in solving talent pipeline issues affecting daily operations.
Take a lead role in the annual process of analyzing workforce data to determine workforce gaps within the organization. Use skillset of data analytics and root cause analysis to accomplish this endeavor.
Be a consumer of local, regional, and national trends regarding workforce development in order to keep NGHS as a national leader in workforce development strategy and initiatives.
Utilize available data systems, possibly creating your own data structures, in order to have the most relevant and accurate workforce data ready to be utilized in decision-making.
