Job Summary
Sales Operations is responsible for supporting the commercial organization and driving operational excellence in order to achieve the strategic and sales objectives established by the sales organization. This includes sales tools/productivity improvement, customer contract administration, business metrics/analytics, and rewards architecture.
The Sr Consultant, Customer Contract Administration role is responsible for supporting our WaveMark contracts and customers through the execution of related contracting activities, responding to RFIs and RFPs, and coordinating administration of customer contract terms and conditions across multiple areas to maximize contract value. This role will own the contracting process including governance to contract standards, red-line process management and internal stakeholder approval management. You will partner with our Sales, Finance, Legal and cross-functional teams, to review and carry out the strategy associated with the business, while ensuring compliance and process maintenance.
Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for the coordination and administration of Customer contract terms and conditions, contact activations, as well as all contracting activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to:
Draft WaveMark customer contracts
Collect and document key contracting input from cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Legal, Product Marketing, other)
Participate in design of proposed contracts and perform required analysis of alternatives
Assist the sales teams with the development of custom/unique contract language
Facilitate stakeholder review and approval for all red lines
Review contracts to ensure they are clearly written such that they can be readily executed and managed
Review customer redlines against standard template terms and conditions
Primary Point of Contact for contracts and all contract related questions
Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Lead process efficiencies and contract maturity initiatives
Support to strategic organizational initiatives (Conga implementation)
Develop contract structure and process to support new offers/programs
Develop templates, training and data to support contracting
Drafting / redlining agreements to support tight deadlines or larger projects
Template, clause and playbook updates
Microsite Content Management
Support to manager on performing quality reviews as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
5+ years of related experience in roles such as Contracts Analyst, Legal/Paralegal, Project and Program Management, or Sales/Marketing Analyst preferred.
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization and have strong communication skills for all levels of interaction preferred.
Ability to gather feedback, display a sense of urgency, make recommendations, follow-up, and follow through to deliver timely solutions preferred.
Proficient in synthesizing and presenting large amounts of complex data verbally and in writing preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines preferred.
Ability to manage high volumes and effectively balance workload preferred.
Capacity to work in a team environment and manage projects accordingly preferred.
Experience in contracting processes and CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management) systems knowledge preferred.
